Join us in welcoming Rinpoche to the center, followed by an auspicious offering and prayer ceremony.

Taking part in the Five-Deity Heruka Empowerment and/or Vajrayogini Blessing involves receiving and keeping Bodhisattva and Tantric vows, and maintaining commitments. Please visit the event registration form for details of prerequisites required to attend.

Vajrayogini Retreat (Limited to 50 participants) - As of 4/23/2025: Space for the retreat is at capacity and closed for registration.
To do the retreat, one must have received both the Vajra Yogini blessing and commentary on the Vajra Yogini practice. If you are receiving the Vajra Yogini blessing for the first time during these events, or you previously received the blessing but have not received commentary, you will need to attend the Vajra Yogini commentary on August 6th, 7th and 8th.

Seating Capacity for Empowerment/Blessing/Commentary Sessions
Due to the limited capacity in our gompa, chair seating will be reserved for special needs students. We will try our best to accommodate seating for as many student as possible, but the remaining cushions and chair will be on a first come, first serve basis. A mix of chairs and cushions will be placed in different sections of the center including the bookstore, Vietnamese translation room, and the living room (overflow seating room). For those requiring chairs, please respond accordingly when completing the registration form.
Seating Capacity for Retreat
Due to the nature of this event, participation will be in-person only and attendance will be limited to 50 participants. The option to be placed on a waitlist will be made available should interest exceed this capacity. A mix of chairs and cushions will be available. For those requiring chairs, please respond accordingly when completing the registration form.
Parking/Public Transportation/Carpool/Ride Share
GSTDL is located in a residential area with limited street parking. There is no parking lot available at the center. We encourage students to use alternative methods of transportation such as the bus (https://ridelbt.com/), carpool, or use ride share services to our center. This will help minimize traffic and parking congestion in the residential areas.
If you do bring a vehicle and park on the streets, please make sure you read the signs carefully to avoid parking tickets.
Housing Recommendations
For those that are interested in housing information, we recommend using Airbnb and Vrbo for short term stays. Enter "Gaden Shartse Thubten Dhargye Ling" for location. This will generate surrounding housing, although not necessarily close (or walking distance) to our center. Other methods of transportation may be needed.
