Managing Director, Geshe Lobsang Jampa, gives three introductory sessions explaining how the Buddha became a valid authority (pramāṇa) through gradual practice of the path. Drawing on the teachings of Dignāga and Dharmakīrti, he presents the Four Reasonings in both forward order (Lug-Jung), showing how the Buddha progressed along the path, and reverse order (Lug-Dog), demonstrating why the Buddha can be established as a valid and reliable authority.
